
Chopping Wood Kashta Takshanasana
Sit in squatting pose with feet flat on ground. Clasp fingers of hand and place them on floor between feet. Imagine chopping wood. Raise arms as high as possible behind head, stretching spine up. Look up at hands. Make a downward chop and expel breath with a "Ha" sound.
Loosens pelvic girdle. Tones pelvic muscles. Good for trimester 1.
